Kawasaki aimed to compete in the trials market with a machine that combined plonking power, good ground clearance, and steering lock . The KT250 was styled in traditional Kawasaki green with a white stripe,
Legacy
The KT250 is remembered as one of the most beautiful trials bikes ever produced, admired for its design and craftsmanship , While it didn’t dominate the trials scene, it remains a sought‑after classic, especially in the US and Europe
Here we have a 350 TY Yamaha-- in good mechanical condition - cosmetic's on the pictured one could benefit from a freshen up-- i do have a 250 barrel and piston in excellent shape so as to convert to 250cc (which was an altogether better trials machine than the big 350).
forks and rear suspension/linkage all in good shape
$2200 as 350 cc-- $2550 with 250 cc barrel / head / piston etc. etc.
INFO: In 1983, the new TY 250 arrived from Japan. It was compact, low, narrow, well protected, and lightweight, weighing in at 83 kg. It was completely new, featuring a very progressive “monocross” rear suspension system that gave it excellent grip. With it, the era of modern trials began, and Yamaha crushed the competition with this new model.
